Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Laini Taylor

 

In August 2013 I worked on an online campaign for Laini Taylor's first paperback in her trilogy, Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

 

Due to image right constraints we were unable to use any cover assets in the artwork, meaning we had to create a new look that still felt recognisable to the book. The ads were briefed to look beautiful and eye-catching; due to appear in a Emerald Street newsletter they should appeal to a female audience.

 

The animated ad featured a live embedded twitter feed showing the amazing book reviews.
